Challenge
The Women’s Foundation underwent a name change from the Women’s Foundation of Boston to the Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts, creating the need for a complete website redesign. The existing site, originally built in 2017, had not been updated and no longer reflected the organization’s mission, structure, or evolving goals.
Approach
I led the reevaluation of the website assessing content needs, improving user experience, and establishing a clear visual hierarchy. This included auditing existing pages to determine what should be kept, updated, added, or removed. I focused on creating intuitive user flows while ensuring the site presented updated and essential information in a clear, accessible, and visually engaging way.
To inform the new structure, I conducted research on nonprofit websites across the country, analyzing navigation patterns, page organization, and common UX best practices. These insights guided decisions around site architecture, navigation placement, and footer content.
Outcome
The redesigned website was built over the course of two months and resulted in a modern, organized, and user-friendly experience that better reflects The Women’s Foundation’s identity and mission.

Side Project: Sticker Designs
Every year, The Women’s Foundation hosts their Make Her Mark event, which is their biggest fundraiser of the year. I designed the merchandise that was handed out at the event.
